Galvus Met, ağızdan alınan bir ilaçtır ve diyabet (şeker hastalığı) tedavisinde kullanılır. İki etken madde olan vildagliptin ve metformin hidroklorür içerir. Vildagliptin, DPP-4 inhibitörü olarak bilinen bir ilaç sınıfına aittir ve kan şekerini düzenlemek için pankreasta bulunan inkretin hormonlarının etkilerini artırır. Metformin hidroklorür ise biguanid grubu bir antidiyabetik ilaçtır ve insülin direncini azaltır, karaciğerde glikoz üretimini düzenler ve vücutta biriken fazla glikozu kullanımını artırır.
Ne İşe Yarar?
Galvus Met, Tip 2 diyabet hastalarında kan şekerini düzenlemek ve kontrol altına almak için kullanılır. Tip 2 diyabet, vücudun yeterli miktarda insülin üretmemesi veya üretilen insülinin etkili bir şekilde kullanılamaması durumunda ortaya çıkar. Bu durumda kan şekerinin yükselmesine ve komplikasyonlara yol açabilir.
Galvus Met, kan şekerini düşürmeye yardımcı olur ve insülin direncini azaltarak vücudun insülini daha iyi kullanmasına yardımcı olur. Böylece kan şekerinin normal seviyelerde kalması sağlanır, diyabetin ilerlemesi ve komplikasyonların ortaya çıkması engellenir.

Galvus Met, yetişkinlerde, yaşlarına veya vücut kitle indekslerine bakılmaksızın, Tip 2 diyabetin tedavisinde kullanılır.
